What's your opinion on the Hunger Games series?🏹🥖

I finally read the whole pentalogy, which includes the prequel and sotr !! I absolutely love the series and my favorite books have to be Sunrise on the reaping or Mockingjay. I didn’t enjoy Catching fire that much because it was slow to get to the climax and such. Which books in the series stand out to you the most? :books:

I love the Hunger Games! I do agree- Catching Fire was REALLY slow for me. I’ve watched every movie (not sotr obv) and read 1, 2, 3 but have all the books.

Lucky! I only own 1, 2 and sotr. I wish I had the prequel though because I read it such a long time ago, and it was so good! :persevering_face: However, I do think that the catching fire movie was pretty great though, it was more fast-paced and captured the victory tour in a more “detailed” and impactful manner.

I’ve read all like in one week and I’m still obsesssed with them so I really really like the first one but the others aren’t that good but I enough like them

I read all of the first 3 I loved it (I love Finnick Odair his death was undeserved) I seen the movie of Ballad of Songbirds and snakes and I haven’t read either of the new 2 books releasing but hot-take I really Liked Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes

I love the Hunger Games series! I read all 5 books, but I think I would stick to the first one as my favorite because there’s constantly intense stuff happening. Mockingjay was so sad I came close to crying…I loved all the characters who died..

it’s the same for me, but switch mockingjay and catching fire. Barely anything happens in the first half of mockingjay but catching fire there is at least some of the “bts” of the victory tour and the whole “I’m going to kill everyone u love if u don’t convince me” bit by snow so i felt it was more entertaining than mockingjay.

Sunrise was def really sad tho, but I’m excited for the news movie to come out!
