Why why whyyy

So I’m making another pattern :))
But problem… How do you add up end stitch numbers? Cuz |really big math warning!!|
I made magic ring makes end count 6
Then increase 1, puff 1, x3 witch makes 9
Then I inc1, sc1 x3, but I end up with 9?!

If you know how to do this and ur a pro… PLEASE HELP ME!
