heyy!!
So I love reading, like, I really love reading. And I was wondering if anyone would be interested if I made a group chat for crafters who enjoy reading? (Whilst crafting, or just as a stand alone hobby.)

It would be a place where we could talk about books, give suggestions on what to read, and rant about books.

I’m not sure if this has been done before, apologies apologies.

YAYAYYAYAYY!!!

I would love to join!! I’ve been reading since I was three and I started reading chapter books before kindergarten lol!!! Basically books are my life!! (Actually Santa never even gave me toys it was always books)

I also have to say that I’m 12 and if the group is mainly adults and stuff please say that the book may not be age appropriate. Thanks!!

But overall I would love to join!

I’m always reading and usually have (multiple) books with me.

As a side point - has anyone done a year of reading blanket? I’ve seen a couple different styles.

  • Genre by color like a temperature blanket - so horror = black; romance = red; purple = fantasy; etc and each row is the genre of the book read (or can do chunked pages to track that information x pages for a genre row)

  • Granny squares inspired by the book - so like Alice in Wonderland may have a white rabbit or a top hat; Narnia may have a lion or a wardrobe - or just squares colored like the book cover if you want more abstract squares
