Hey y’all all I wanna say is srry, for the past 2 days idk if you have realised but I have not been as online as before and I have a reason for that,my reason is that life has just been hard like I’m just lost, like I feel like there is a weight on me when I’m with my friends but when I’m with other people I feel so light,or like I’ve been so lost on what to crochet, lately I feel like I’m just a dumb person that does not deserve this life, and I feel like everything is so wrong and like my parents expect me to be this perfect girl when I’m not and I just have so much weight on me and I am truly just srry for this.
wrong reason to be sorry, You are a wonderful person! You shouldnt be so hard on yourself! Nobody is perfect but if there is such as perfect people, you definitely would be! If what you are going through is much deeper than it seems to me, I would love to help.
Chin up! I’m hear if you need me!

ever noticed the best topics in ribblr are mostly started by you btw?
Wdym?
Don’t ever think that you are a problem, don’t belong or you have to be perfect! All of those thing you can throw away!
Focus on what you are doing and trying to make yourself better not perfect. And it’s understandable with all the weight between friends and family! It’s hard sometimes!
I’ve had a lot bc I’m only in 7th but this is my 6th school I’ve been too. I’ve lost so many friends and get into so many arguments with them. But it’s the ones who actually understand you, you have so much in common, they never get on to you for the smallest thing unless they’re joking, I’ve found those are the best friends.
I do not think you are a dumb person who doesn’t belong here!! First off, I may not know you at all or very well, but your probably a very intelligent person who is here for a reason and has a purpose to be here. Never say you don’t belong here or are dumb because you do belong here, and your not dumb.
I understand what you could possibly goi ng through! I’m so sorry you feel that way though! And are going through these things! But it’s a part of life is what I say

Girl! I don’t want to hear that kinda talk! (But it’s good for you so
) but you shouldn’t feel like that and I’m sorry. I don’t know if your religious or not but if you are, try reading the Bible! (Srry if your not. But it’ll help, also you may want to try prayng/talking to God) if you need to talk I’m always avaliable! Don’t feel shy. I understand.
U don’t have to apologize for being offline!
Its ok! I feel the same way. If you want someone to talk to I’m happy to help! I’m sure things will get better for you.
Xxx
“Please don’t ever be sorry for taking the space you need or for having a hard time. You are never, ever a weight on us, and I’m so glad you felt safe enough to share this with us. It sounds like you’re carrying so much right now between the pressure from your parents and just feeling lost, but I want you to know that you don’t have to be ‘perfect’ or have everything figured out to be worthy of a beautiful life. You aren’t ‘dumb’ or ‘wrong’—you’re just a human going through a heavy chapter. Don’t worry about the crochet or being ‘online’ right now; your only job is to be gentle with yourself. We are here for you no matter what, and I’m just happy you’re in the world.”
Coming from a parent:
Are you able to have meaningful conversations with your parents? If so, then tell them how you feel.
Most parents aren’t trying to make their kids feel like they NEED to be perfect. We’re just trying to make sure that our kids are doing better and will make better choices than we did when we were y’all’s age. Everything you do as you grow has an effect and consequence on your actions.
It’s normal to feel like you’re not good enough or not doing enough to make your parents proud. Sometimes we forget what it was like to be your age and we need a reminder that we didn’t have it easy when we were a kid. At the same time, when we remember that, we also think about, “well, what can I do as a parent to make sure my/our kid(s) don’t struggle in the way that I/we did?” I can’t speak for ALL parents but believe it or not, most of us get a huge heartache when we see our kids struggling. Some know what to do. Some don’t. Depends on how they’re raised.
I obviously don’t know what your life is like and how your parents are making you feel this way but, if you’re one of the lucky kids who are able to convey their feelings without being shut down or criticized, then please, talk to them. We need to know how our kids are feeling so that we’ll know how to help them. ![]()
Never apologise for how you feel or for taking time to reset. But please be kind to yourself.
I’m a parent and believe me we don’t always get it right.
I can honestly say we don’t expect perfect but we try to help you be the best you possible.
A tiny example my son and I was at uni at the same time, although different universities.
I know I pushed him, not for perfect but the best him. I knew he was better academically than me. He beat me I was so proud of him.
He wasn’t perfect he missed classes but he was enough for me.
I’m almost positive your parents feel the same way.
Now crochet is much easier show me/us your progress. Make a poll with ideas ![]()
You’ve got this ![]()

No need to be sorry! Taking care of yourself is the most important thing, and don’t say things like you don’t deserve this life, because you do! If you need to talk, I’m here for you :) Honestly I felt the same way about being perfect because I kept getting compared to other people, but just remember that there are always things that only you can do! ![]()
Thanks girl
Don’t be! It’s okay to not be okay! We’re here for you always!!
You totally don’t have to apologize for this!
I’m glad that you’re at least posting about this and not just holding it in all the time.
I get it if you don’t want to talk to your parents about it, I have been through something similar, but I rlly hope you can get to feeling better soon!
Also, if you ever want to vent in private feel free to DM or PM me, I’ll always listen.
