Yarnsmiths chunky chenille - £2.99 gpd(on sale from £5 gpd) - 8/10 - from Wool Warehouse - doesn’t shed too much, cheap delivery, lots of colours.
Utopia Crafts velvet lux - £2 gpd-£3 gpd - 6/10 - Utopia Crafts LTD - rarely in stock, yarn texture varies, but very cheap.
Sweet snuggles lite - 12-15 CAD - 7/10 - Michaels - Very soft and silky, but snaps super easily.
Jellybaby - £3-£4 gpd - 8/10 - amazon - good quality, good colours, sheds a lot
Flutterby chunky - £3-£5 - 6/10 - hobbycraft, amazon - soft, doesn’t shed too much, but extremely thin!

Loops and Threads Salmon Pink - $4.99 CAD from Michael’s - Medium Worsted - 9/10 - A wide variety of colours for cheap, doesn’t splinter off and good for hats & amigurumi details!
BLANKET:
Loops and Threads Grande Ombre- $10 usd - micheals - 207.8 yd/190 m - soft, magic circle works with this yarn, relatively good amount of colors. 10/10
Bernat blanket - £10 gpd-£15 gpd or $10- $13 usd - 9/10 - Various yarn shops - big, lasts long, good quality, but expensive if you don’t need too much.
Chinese yarn 🩷 - Taobao
I use the first one with a 5.5 mm hook, and the second one with a 6.0 mm hook ![]()
This is an EXTREMELY high quality yarn, as it doesn’t shed and I make my mr without trouble, and it isn’t “squeaky”
VELVET:
Loops and Threads Premir yarn - 13usd/9(ish)gpd - 10/10 - Micheals - Big, good quality and perfect to add small details to projects with a more softer feel (without using acrylic)
BLENDS:
Jeans (YarnArt) - 1,50-2€ for a 50g skein - 8/10 - bought it from my local yarn shop - it’s pretty soft, the strands don’t separate, easy to use, many beautiful colours, but for some maybe too thin (it reccomends a 3,5mm hook)
FLUFFY:
Yeti - £3-£4 gpd - 10/10 - amazon - super soft, affordable, FLOOOFFFYYY
