I think 20 balls of yarn because then you are saving money (if you buy 5 balls for 20 dollars. 54 = 20 which means 204 which is 80) that way you are saving 10 bucks. Because it is for a market, I also think you should get 20 balls of yarn for that!
In the option A if you multiply it to get 20 balls of yarn instead of just 5 you would spend $80 for the 20 balls
But option B yes you get 20 balls for $70 but your mum pays 30 instead of 50 so I guess the question is how much in your budget do you have to pay for the yarn because in option A your mum is paying more of the money $50 instead of $30 but what kind of yarn is it, do you prefer the yarn you’d be getting with option B there is a lot to factor so I’m not gonna bother but just leave this for your to consider
This math only works if Mom is willing to spend $30 every time the yarn is ordered. Also the mom doesn’t pay $50 on either. She pays $30 on either option.
Premier often does deals on larger orders so you can get the same yarn for less.
It’s definitely a better deal if you will use that much yarn. Given that you said this for markets I assume you will, so if you can afford it then it’s a great investment. This also means you get the option for more colors if you desire which means more variety of what you can make, also more interesting setup for a market.
Usually if I’m ordering yarn online I save and wait for a good sale to get it in bulk. Buying locally I’ll usually only grab 1 or 2 depending on what I need and what sale is available.
I think 20 cause it’s a lot like I don’t even think I have 20 balls of yarn but I would be worried if I had enough Polly fill tho but idk what ur maing
