hey guys! im planning to go to yarn con this year but have no idea what to expect. i will be saving away some money but what are some yarn prices to expect? and is there a fee for yarncon? will i need a ticket? just any advice or anything you know of about yarncon will help. thank you!!

Never been to yarncon but I did some searching.
It doesn’t seem like you’ll need a ticket (but maybe they require you to buy one when you get there?)
Yarn will be the same price as directly buying yarn from a small business
(here’s an example of the prices one of the most popular yarn vendors in my area has
Starting probably around $15-30 a skein and going up to $120ish for really really specialty skeins (most are around $30 I’ve found).
If you’re not someone who cares for spending a lot of money for a certain texture or blend of yarn, you probably won’t find much you want to buy
