I love thattt awww. The colors are so pretty together!!
Wow thatās so sweet!! Thank you so much :]
I love the look of this sweater, and itās been in my wishlist for awhile lol. Marie Pullover: Knitting pattern | Ribblr
Haha! I completely understand that, Iām in the same boatā
I decided to make the dress my take-everywhere project! Mostly because the other projects that I need to get done are either huge or need lots of colorsā Yesterday I even took it to the dentist and worked on it while they cleaned my teethā They loved it lol.
Itās not just a trick of the light! The yarn is almost a little bit variegated? Iām in love with the way it looks though!
The sun hasnāt fully risen yet so the photo is a bit dim lol.
Iām really excited about the way the blanket is progressing! Itās hurting my hands, takes forever, and is going to be really hard to finish by Christmas, but I just love it!
Future me will just have to deal with the endsā
Although I think Iām going to take some soft fabric I have and sew it to the back so itās smoother and softer at the end!
Even better! I guess what I mean to say is I think itās really sweet that she gets to have that level of input and, furthermore, seems enthusiastic to give it; additionally, it must be so cool to have a parent who can magic up just about anything your heart desires.
Oooh!! Thank you for sharing! The posh one I have doesnt look quite as full/wide as the one in your photo, so I never would have guessed they were from the same line, but perhaps I need to take a closer look! Guess I need to consider getting some other colors if theyāre still available by the time Iām no longer on a yarn buying freeze - I remember liking a lot of the colors, but they were all sold out when I was shopping. Iām glad you like the yarn; I like it too because itās a little different than your standard poly/chenille/blanket yarn. They also have Baby Bear (?) yarn that looks similar and Iām really curious about - if you (or anyone reading this) have any experiences with that one would love to hear about them.
Thank you! I really wanted to use rich autumnal colors for my scarecrow - glad you like them!
That is a really pretty sweater with a unique look, can see why it would catch your interest! Gift sent - please let me know if you havenāt received it!
Smart move to bring the dress with you everywhere - itās wild how just a row here and there can add up quickly! I know the dentistās office got a major kick outta that I love the dedication and am also impressed you managed to knit while you got your cleaning done.
I can see the color even better now - what a lovely yarn! I donāt feel like I see a lot of black yarns with variegation, so it feels even more esthetically pleasing somehow.
And WOW! That is going to be a blanket of epic proportions when youāre all done - the level of detail too The idea to cover the back with a different fabric is clever, has benefit of hiding any ends that may not cooperate.
I got the gift, thank you again!!
Itās truly crazy how quick the rows add up!
I worked on it for like 20 minutes each day over 3ish days and Iāve already made so much progress.
Yeah, I really love the ātextureā it gives to the dress, instead of just being one flat color!
I seriously canāt wait to finish the blanketā
Iām so excited for the finished product!!!
And yeah, covering the pesky little ends was part of what led to me deciding to add fabric at the end lol!
That sounds both so cool and a lot of work! No worries about having time to reply all at once, glad to see that everything is well
Thatās so sweet! Feel free to choose the cheapest pattern! (Should be the first one on the list) But since I did get a pattern gifted already no need to gift again
The goal of this week is to make progress on a project that challenges or intimidates you - whether that means trying something totally new, working through a struggle project, or attempting that pattern youāre intimidated by - we are leap-frogging out of our confort zones!
No inspo post this week as it is a very personal prompt, but if you need ideas or more guidance, do let me know!
The bonus prompt asks you whether youāre adventurous with your projects or if you tend to choose the same patterns/types of patterns when you create!
Hereās how I played with color for this week! I definitely had some fun and ended up making multiple of this pattern theyāre so fast to make so I had some fun and tried some things out used up some unlabeled yarn along with the the same Unlabeled yellow
Also this isnāt for this prompt but realized I never shared the Moo Deng! I ended up making Moo Deng from the YouTube pattern Iāll probably make my own patterm later when I have the time lol
Gah,i made it with the time frame but forgot to post it here last night. This was my play with colour challenge, i was only allowed to use red/yellow and pink and had to write a pattern for āsomethingā. Iāll be posting the tester call shortly:
Iām not sure if this counts, BUT I made this earlier this week, and the webs are glow in the dark green!!! It looks SO COOL, but itās really hard to get on camera
I bet it looks amazing on! Ive been testing out some glow in the dark yarn recently, i was going to make a video on it but its hard to get on camera with any accuracy.
Do you think anyone would want the pattern? Ive no idea about sizing and gauge and all that good stuff, i just got my daughter to stuff her hand in now and then
I finished the cardigan
Thank you for this topic it helped motivate me
I donāt know how to add the pattern but if allowed can I have the Spencer Scarecrow pattern that you made.
If you have gifted all the patterns you allocated thatās ok too.
Iām grateful for the motivation to finish the cardigan
