Flower and Bird of the Week #4

This week’s flower is a Cherry Blossom. :cherry_blossom:
It is a light pink, five-petaled flower that is particularly associated with Japan and Japanese art. Cherry blossoms are a symbol of beauty, love, and renewal.

This week’s bird is a unique bird called the Kākāpō.
The kākāpō, sometimes known as the owl parrot or owl-faced parrot, is a species of large, nocturnal, ground-dwelling parrot of the superfamily Strigopoidea. It is endemic to New Zealand. Kākāpō can be up to 64 cm long.

That is so cool! My suggestion is a Lear’s Macaw for the bird and a Tiger lily for the flower. Tiger lilies are my favorite, and I did a project for art on Lear’s macaws.
