Today’s Flower is the…Tiger Lily
“Tiger lily” is a reference to the Lilium lancifolium, also known as the tiger lily. This flower is native to East Asia. The name Tiger Lilly is also used in books and movies such as Peter Pan. This flower prefers full sun and a little shade and well-drained soil.
Today’s Bird is the…Lear’s Macaw
This bird is also known as the Indigo Macaw. It is a large blue Brazilian parrot. These birds are playful and are able to mimic a human’s voice. They like to eat nuts and seeds and mice.

OMG you actually did my request?? Thank you so so much. Another fact although it is sad is that Lear’s macaws are endangered, with a little over 1600 individuals left in the wild, as they are threatened by habitat loss, climate change, and wild bird trading. Tiger lilies are also sadly invasive to North America. Thankfully, the tiger lily is a bulb plant, making it a lot easier to control than its cousin, the ditch lily.
Thank you for listening to my geek out lol

Well, you would have to either send a flower/bird request to the maker or come up with your own. Don’t do your own flower of the week, otherwise it’s rude for you’d be copying. You could do yarn of the week, sunset of the week, car of the week, cloud of the week etc.
Ya know, your own idea! Make sure no one else is doing it before you start! Hope it starts.
