Hi u guys! Sooo i was at the pet store the other day and I saw this 2 month old tabby kitten and fell in LOVE!! However, I already have another cat and my mom doesn’t want a second one. Does anyone have any reasons/tips to help me(it’s ok if no lol)? Thx sm!!

Be carful with pet stores! Some times the cat is from bad breeders and has lots of health problems I’m not trying to be mean I just want to make sure the cat is good.

Being a mom, I would be more convinced if my kid made up a list of the things she would promise to take off my hands. May just be me but I have 2 dogs and if my kid wanted another pet, I would say no because I already can’t keep up with what I have. Not sure how much you already help around the house but maybe she’s saying no cause it’ll overwhelm her?
Edit - also I’m not a cat person but I have heard they do better in pairs

Depending on your cats and how they interact with other cats it might not be a good idea because they might fight (although thats usually with two females)
