How does a righty (me) teach a lefty (my sis) to crochet
Wonderful question. I (a lefty), have been teaching my son (a righty) how to crochet, so I guess it’s basically the same. :)
I’m going to assume your sister is old enough and excited enough to be willing to be patient enough to learn.
Some general points for any beginner:
-Don’t start with too small or large of a hook size.
-Yarn that frays or splits easy is maddening.
-Starting is the hardest part.
Here are some options. Let me know if you’d like help with any of them:

Can she just mirror you? The easiest and first thing to try. It’s how I learned. I watched right-handed beginner tutorials on YouTube, and realized I just had to mirror everything. Videos are nice because I could slow it down, rewind, and the good ones are very clear to see the stitches. Worth a try.

You can learn to crochet left-handed, then can demonstrate easier, and help start pieces for her. This is what I’ve been working on with my son. It’s very slow going for me, but I know what my hands are supposed to do, and so I know when the result is looking wonky. It also was encouragement to my son when he started being able to do sc faster than me, so it gave early encouragement.

You can see if she’d be fine crocheting right-handed. There are a decent number of crocheters who actually crochet with their non-dominant hand, as it’s just the way they picked it up initially.

Left-handed tutorial videos. I haven’t used them myself, but I’ve heard of them on another thread about lefty tutorials. I’ll try to find it and link the thread in a later comment.
Here is the thread by @Hamsters about left-handed tutorials.
