I mean actually making finished pieces.

I learned how to chain at five years old, but I didn’t start making finished things until last February.

If you have a large gap in your years crocheting like @KMartSpecial , maybe add up your total active years crocheting.

i’ve been crocheting since i was 6 :D so that makes 13 years! can’t believe it’s been that long tbh (and yes, my first finished piece was this scarf when i was 6)

NOO that lwk makes me sad :( the first thing i made was a woobles narwhal (bad) the first wearable was a hat (small) and my first freehanded was a snake (…eugh)

i learned how to chain at 7!! my brain didn’t work right tho so i would sc across then i couldn’t figure out how to turn :sob: and my mom would try to teach me and then get annoyed… ANYWAY last valentine’s day (2024) i was watching shark tank in CCR at school and discovered The Woobles!! and yeah :D

I finish my first skirt at 7, that was what my mom taught me and my sister 6 1/2 and 5 1/2 yrs that’s 54 yrs and counting.

I made a lot of blankets, squares and rectangles since I was 14. So 50 years. 13 years ago I looked at a crocheted hat, and figured out how to make them. Been crazy learning ever since.
