Oh, and that little thing that pulls up the skirt: I saw some ppl using a big pin to hold it up (those who close, yk?), but there were also some tutorials for how to use a belt for it. Maybe youd be able to find some on yt?? If not I can send one here for ya :] feel free to ask me to look up anyting if u want since your not allowed to use pinterest AND reddit T^T

OMG, I LOVE REN FAIRS! They’re basically my childhood! Bring comfy shoes, but you have to be ok with getting them a bit dusty. You should definitely be a fairy or elf!

I have a gnome backpack pattern in my shop. It’s pretty big (I’ve fit a kindle in it before) if that’s something you’re interested in.

If you’re able to buy patterns I suggest checking this website out!

For general suggestions:
Parasol - can be decorative but helps with both rain and sun
Fan
Look at the ren faire rules and see if you can bring water

Make sure whatever you wear can get dirty. At least your shoes.
Our renn faire locations are always dusty or muddy and its more fun if you dont have to worry about your costume

I dont know where you live but where im at its still hot in october. If its colder just layer your outfit, extra sleeves and skirts look renn fair like already!

If its hot, i would say crochet the corset, it would likely be cooler than any that you could buy
If its cold, i would crochet a pouch to wear on a belt!

Ren fairs are so fun! I haven’t been to one in a while, but I recommend dressing lighter and bringing layers of its cold! I feel you should dress medieval-ish, but I’ve seen plenty of people do fantasy stuff!

Ive never gone to a ren fair or anything like that, but I think it would be super fun! I watched this video and it has lots of great tips. ( 10 tips for your first renaissance festival) by Holly Auna.
