Hey Ribblrs,
Two weeks ago I asked you if you want Ribblr to launch our own yarn.
In just 12 hours 3,000+ Ribblrs voted. And in total 94% of you said YES ![]()
But it’s not just the vote that mattered. There was so much thoughtful feedback on what you want to see and what disappoints you about the current yarn industry which I think can do a lot more for crocheters and knitters like you and me.
As a designer and crafter, my biggest sources of pride is that we’ve built Ribblr alongside our community. Thanks to you we have not only created a huge platform for crafters all over the world, but also a positive and safe space. To me, that is even more important.
So now I can officially say: Ribblr yarn is happening

So… what’s next?
Over the years, the team and I have connected with family businesses that have been in the textile industry for decades and care deeply about yarn just like us.
Samples are being produced as I write this. Our aim is to create beautiful, quality, and affordable yarn, that you can be confident making your projects with. It will not be easy, and it will not be perfect from day 1. But with your feedback, patience, and support, we are going to build something truly special together. Just like we did for almost 6 years of Ribblr ![]()
This is a big part of our roadmap, but it does not replace everything else we’re already building. From releasing improvements multiple times a week, to new exciting features based on your Suggestions
.
We are also growing Team Ribblr so can keep getting better. (yes, real people!
)
Vote now: Should Ribbot be on our yarn label?
- Yes, Ribbot must be on the yarn label

- No, I don’t want Ribbot on the yarn label
Stay tuned
I’ll be sharing more with you including samples, voting on colors and generally behind the scenes stuff. Make sure you follow me here on the community (@lir ← tap and hit follow) so you don’t miss out.
Thank you so much for being a part of our journey and building with us.
Yours,
Lir ![]()
