Hi y’all,lately I have been a bit unhealthy,like I am sleeping at like 12:30 everyday,and I’ve been so busy I just have not had the time to take care of myself and I just wanted to ask if y’all have any self care tips beacause I need to kinda force myself to take care of myself because this can not continue like I need to stop forgetting things like I have been sleeping in my alarm and I just can’t,so do y’all have any tips??
So what I when been trying to do is wake up early, like 30 minutes earlier than I should, and I can go ahead and eat and get my shower before school taken care of.
With that extra time I have 1-2 hours so I get my bag ready, lunch and chores like feeding my dog.
When I get home I go straight to getting my dog out, dishes done and currently I’ve been working on my backyard and spending less time on my phone.
Honestly I realized I spend way to much time on my phone, and I’m trying to limit myself to 2 hours a day on it, SO, I have time for other things.
The main thing is going to bed at a decent time, aggressive cough, and having a easy routine that you are comfortable with and have time to do other things.
I do a thing called self care Sundays so on sunday ill allow myself to sleep in and chill maby put a face mask on esc… for the morning and then lock in in the after noon and just clean my room reset and get the boring chores done

soemtimes when i ncie outside i like to just sit in my backyard and watch my chicken be silly but it helps gound me if that makes sense, my house is loud during the day, but i can always escape outside if needed
i have alarms set every 5-7 minutes in the morning its so easy just to press snooze or cancel ive also found if i set my alarm 5-10 minutes before i have to get out of bed, i get ready sooner in the morning
oddly.. cleaning my room help me calm down, mainly since i can control it and i also find it satisfying and relxaing
I haven’t been as active, but here’s some help. When I crocheted my whole live focused on taht and only that. And I also did the same as what you are. Here’s some tips. Make sure what you have around you is clean, clean surroundings promote a clean Brain and mind. Try to decrease stress, and take time off crocheting. Consider a glow up of some sort, that way you can feel your very best. Take some time to take care of yourself and only yourself. Hell, then go do something awesome (buy yarn if that’s what you want) and try just one day of going to bed around 9, I usually go to bed late as well, but one day like that is a total reset and is amazing. Since I sleep through my alarms too, I usually either
A. set an alarm that sounds annoying (very very annoying and very very loud)
B. set alarms before you’re supposed to wake up (e.i. I wake up at 4am every day, so I set alarms for like 2:28 and 3:37)
Keep in mind that option B is very unhealthy and you prob should use it as a last resort…I just torture myself like that so I’m fine
A (healthier) self-care tip is to use ice on your face when you wake up every day. I usually do this before going to school so I can actually stay waking up while running on 4 hours of sleep. So, would fully recommend that :D
Oh I’m so sorry I really feel you, I’d say what’s helped me is make a morning routine with specific times to do stuff so like I go to be at 9:30 wake up at 5:30walk at 5:45 piano at 6:15 breakfast at 7:00 etc. but yeh u also need the tips lol.
