Should we create our own Ribblr yarn? 🧶🤔 (vote to help us decide)

thank you for sharing! if we go for it it’ll probably not be in store at least for a while, but through the app or ribblr.com - how much of a deal breaker is it for you?

if its through the ribblr app that would be awesome! maybe if you added a tab called “shopping”!

depending on the size, a chenile ball would be nice at $7! also it would be awesome if you could make a fuzzy yarn too! So I’d say price range $5-$12 for all yarns

Why does yarn have to be so expensive

I’d say I’d still order it from the site every once in awhile!

i can always buy it online if it’s not too expensive even without feeling it!

I currently get mine on amazon from brands called omiout and timgle. I usually bought those brands because they have great color variety, pretty good quality, and sold for an affordable price, recently both brands increased their prices by a lot.

I really like the idea of ribblr making it’s own yarn! If you do make it I’d love to see chenille, blanket, and maybe even some cotton yarn!! I know theres many people in the ribblr community from other countries other than the U.S. so it’d be great if it shipped to other countries as well!! For colors we definitely purple :purple_heart: :frog: and orange and blue, I feel like I don’t usually see a good bright blue chenille yarn. And last thing few factory knots if any at all, I personally don’t mind factory knots, but i know many others do.

I can’t wait to see what you guys come up with!! <<3

I am tired of buying chenille type yarns that “shed” since Joann’s closed, Michael’s is the only craft store locally. I have tried several of their bulky yarns, only to have it fall apart when I use it. I’ve done a lot of mail order yarn shopping to avoid it, but even that can be dicey, and more difficult to return. Having well designed and manufactured yarn at decent prices is essential to small businesses. This is a wonderful idea.

I love this idea! I’m thinking something like a soft chenille or velvet yarn because I don’t really use acrylic that much. :revolving_hearts:

I WOULD LOVEEEE RIBBLR YARN except the only problem as someone who lives in Asia, whenever we want to buy anything from any continent the shipping charges go wayyy above the roof and sometimes it’s more than the yarn itself which is a majour withdrawal, so yeah if the shipping charges were none or less it would be appreciated. Plus good quality and affordable yarn is every Fibre artists dream! We would love to the see the whole process!

shipping is tricky and very expensive as of late - you’re totally right! Where are you in Asia if you feel comfortable sharing?
