Hey y’all,here is my daily life with parents the big question am I good enough??am I just the failure of the innocent perfect daughter image who knows???
Story:
Dad:see your other friends do math schools and other activities why don’t you
Dad:like do piano or something
Mom:you don’t have to force Mimi to do piano
Dad:all you do is sit and go on your phone mimo
In my mind : what do you guys want from me I crochet,design patterns,do gymnastics,do swimming classes,read books,have good grades and own a shop but I’m not good enough for you?
Mimi:well I crochet I do gymnastics and other stuff
Dad:well all that is just a hobby it will do nothing for you in the future
In my mind: I can open a crochet shop,I can go to the Olympics and get money,I can get a good job with my grades…
Brother:sleeping
What I end up doing: walks away to go brush teeth to exit situation
Then says goodnight and shuts myself in room
Am I good enough??

yes you are good enough don’t ever ever let ur parents get in the way of thinking that. when I thought that kind of things I started to do sh please never do sh but I’m better now just know that there are people who need u when you don’t know it <3

yes, you’re so good enough. As someone whose parents also don’t rly approve of what I do / want me to do other stuff, I can understand this. Just remember to do what you love bc ultimately its ur life, and u shouldn’t need to make others happy.
But also, ik thats kinda hard since its ur parents…
But just stay strong and remember that ur enough and there ppl who support u!

Wauw, i am a parent to a 16y old boy…he plays MTG (cardgame, fun but nothing to earn money)
He loves D&D (same)
He can’t go to school becos of his severe angsiety together with ASD and a high IQ so for me you are good. My son needs to get to the point where he can go and learn to get a degree so he can do his dreamjob later…

“Am I good enough?”
I ask myself this question every day, but I feel like it has many answers depending on who you are. I ask myself this and I find myself saying yes and no. But if you think hard enough, you know that if you weren’t good enough, you never would’ve been born on this planet, you never would’ve been a talented crocheter, and you never would’ve been an amazing person on Ribblr.
I think we just have to think of all the good stuff people have done for us, they care about you and you care about them, we are all good enough for each other. Let God lead the way

Of COURSE you are good enough, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now. We love you and care about you, you shouldn’t ever have to question if you’re enough. You are doing so much, and it’s amazing. Your parents might not see it now but I bet they will come to it and see it, I believe in you, and I love you.
