Someone took down my post they flagged it why like I was just trying to do a competition where I was trying to get to 100 followers before @Summercrocheter1301 and someone flagged my post and ribblee took it down
Hmm idk why it got flagged?
that seems dumb
did @Summercrocheter1301 's post get taken down??
I saw that post I didnât see any wrong with it maybe it was by accident some ppl think that the flag is book mark
You need to say like âwhyâ you think the post should be flagged soo.. I donât think they flagged it by accident.
Oh I didnât know that I havenât flagged anything loll
You should be kinda scared of me lol. Iâve kinda flagged 3 times now XD
(Btw, I didnât even see that post Leah made before yâall think I flagged it )
i think maybe they thought it violated Ribblrâs Community Guidelines? cause it says in there to avoid personal attacks so maybe the person who flagged it thought it was something like that?
Hi there
We replied to you in private too. We donât allow posts requesting followers and your topic was flagged and removed following a staff review.
Topics are expected to be meaningful and lead to a fruitful discussion. Thanks for your cooperation!
then why do u allow giveaways that say âfollow to enterâ?
Giveaways are considered allowed self promotion and follow the usual self promotion guidelines.
Frr
Maybe they flagged it bc they thought it was rude that you were turning it into a competition.
Iâve been flagged once for a misunderstanding I thought u could trade patterns that are not yours by using the gift button next to the pattern so the copy of the pattern you have would be given to another person without having to pay for a whole new pattern (if that makes sense) and I got flagged for illegal activity.
So if the post did not ask for any followers and just states that the two users were doing a competition to see who gets to 100 followers first would that be ok?? Just wondering
thats what i was thinking too but idk
TL;DR: It depends - feel free to send it over and weâll take a look!
Longer answer:
As weâve mentioned, the purpose of topics is to spark meaningful conversations. Thatâs why we have (and regularly update) our Community Guidelines. Our goal is to keep all spaces fun, positive, safe, and inclusive â and over the past 4+ years, that approach has really helped the community thrive. The credit goes to each amazing Ribblr here that contributed to it!
Weâre all about supporting designers, so unlike many other platforms, we do allow some self-promotion. That said, we want to avoid the community turning into a promo-only space, which doesnât offer much value for everyone else. Hence the limitations.
So, for example, appropriate tags (e.g giveaway) helps users find those topics but also hide them (using the mute feature) if they want to.
Weâre actually working on a new special community feature for designers so if you want early access make sure you join our testing group!
Hope that helps
Ooooo⌠even though Iâm not part of the convo and just popping in lol, Iâm excited :>
i looked at this but how can you tell if you are a member? or is it just if you log in?
