So I’m trying to start a scarf pattern and I can’t seem to find the yarn I need. The pattern calls for 500yd. of size 1/super fine yarn. I can’t for the life of me find this in the color I need. I’m looking for something fairly affordable. I would like to not spend any more than $20-$30 on yarn but I’m fairly flexible with that. Here is a picture of the pattern.
Any ideas?

Etsy has some nice yarn.
I highly recommend this shop’s yarn: JovysYarnStore - Etsy

Are you looking for a gradient like this or just any superfine/1 yarn? Because 1 skein of Woolike (found at Michael’s for $4 if not on sale) would be enough, they have red and black (individual not together)
Example to make easier to find, not sure if this color was discontinued

Preferably a gradient but I think I am leaning toward a red by itself. I had seen this brand and wanted to try it. What is the texture like? Is it rough like wool or is it soft?

This is my absolute favorite yarn! It’s acrylic/ nylon blend and so soft. I’m actually so bummed that they discontinued some colors when they didn’t have a ton to start… I use it held double if I want a sport or dk weight because I love it so much (see my latest post in Make It Monday)

I’ve also heard good things about Hobbii Sultan shadows, but no experience. I think @Winternightmare has used it though?
