Chapter 2 (TW)
Looks Don’t Matter
F: (Looks into the mirror poking and prodding his face) Why do I have to look like this?! (Flops down on the bed with frustration)
E: (Finishes her hair, looking concerned, walks to Fiyero and sits on the bed next to him and lifts his head onto her knee, gently stroking his facial features) Hey, you know you’re beautiful and I love you right? ( Gives him a kiss on the cheek) Come here, (picks up Fiyero under the arms and guides him to the mirror) What do you see?
F:( Pouty, ashamed, and sad, Fiyero looks in the mirror, looks at Elphaba, then looks at himself) I see a yellow cloth nose, a pair of brown eyes, and eyebrows made of hay. (Turns around , looks at Elphaba, and with a looks of desperation) Elphaba, I love you and wish to feel your touch! I can’t feel anything as a scarecrow! Please, my love, find a spell to change me back!
F: ( starts to cry) “sniff, sniff”
E: (looking concerned for him) oh, no, my love, ( sits down on the floor and brings Fiyero with her and has him in her lap, with Fiyero’s head pressed into Elphaba’s neck, Elphaba consoling him) shh, shh, shh.
E: ( thinking) I must revese this.
